HTML

For this project, we had to code. We had specific shapes and uses of gradient colors to create through the use of coding in Dreamweaver. This was a little difficult to be able to grasp the concept of coding, but once I got the hang of it and understood it more than just copy and pasting numbers, it became an easier assignment. I would not do this again but now that I have this knowledge of coding, I will use it to be able to better understand our future projects in Illustrator.

Rotoscope

For this project we had to rotoscope video in photoshop. We had to create every aspect of this project ourselves; the video, the drawings (sketches and color), the music, the sound, the titles/credits. We had to change the fps to 10 in photoshop to get 150 frames to sketch over. This project was not difficult, but was so time consuming! If I wanted to knock out 20 sketches of the 150 frames, I would've needed hours on my hands. Creating the music for the video was fun, to be creative and be able to have created every single part of this video was so cool. But by far the best part of this, is the feeling of accomplishment when you are finished.

I'm a Toy

For this project we had to take a picture of ourselves or a friend and turn them into a toy. We first sketched the ideas we had on paper which was a little difficult for me because I am not an artist. Once we did that, we chose a sketch to recreate and take a photoshoot based off that sketch to later make into a toy through photoshop. Once we had our pictures taken, I had a lot of fun making Tamsen into a marionette. Being able to take a realistic photo and make it look almost fake and plastic is so cool to me and I really enjoyed this project.
